The Poker Lounge – Full Tilt Poker’s new UK TV Show
Full Tilt Poker have announced exciting news regarding a new UK television show. The show will be called ‘The Poker Lounge’ and there will be ten episodes of the show filmed and then aired in the UK on Channel 4. In this article we give you information on how to qualify for The Poker Lounge as well as the dates it will be airing.
The Poker Lounge will be in a Sit-and-Go format similar to Full Tilt Poker’s other popular television show – Late Night Poker. The difference however is that The Poker Lounge will be a 6-person winner takes all game featuring 5 Full Tilt Pro’s and one qualifier – so there are ten spots up for grabs if you want to qualify! Already confirmed for the show is Phil Ivey, Gus Hansen and Chris ‘Jesus’ Ferguson with many more of the world’s best players set to be confirmed in coming weeks. Each of the ten qualifier packages on offer is worth $22,000 ($20k buy-in for the show and $2k to cover travel and accomodation) and the winner of the six-player game will win the whole prize pool of $120,000. When will The Poker Lounge be on TV?
The Poker Lounge will be airing weekly on Channel 4 in the UK from June 21st to August 23rd. The shows will be aired on Mondays at 00:00 and will last for one hour. Here is the complete schedule for The Poker Lounge:
