OX45AL wins Special Edition Sunday Million on PokerStars for $550k!
There was a lot of excitement leading up to this weekend tournament action and PokerStars yet again captured all the headlines. PokerStars announced that the Sunday 31st January Sunday Million would be a Special Edition and would have a $2 million guaranteed prize pool. With so much excitement and anticipation, over 10,000 players were expected to enter the $215 buy-in tournament, but this number was smashed!
An astonishing 19,377 players entered the Sunday Million, creating a prize pool of $3,875,400. Both of these were new records for Sunday Million entrants, and Sunday Million prize pool. Of the almost 20,000 players who entered, one player by the alias of OX45AL claimed victory and walked away with over $550k!

Amazingly, prior to this massive record-setting result, OX45AL’s biggest result was 1st-place in a $22 buy-in Limit Hold’em tournament on PokerStars for $234.
