Live durrrr Challenge | Luckexpress and Ziigmund announced!
There has been a lot of rumours about when the live durrrr challenge will be taking place but today the dates have been confirmed as well as two more players who will join Sammy ‘Any Two’ George and take up Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan on his challenge.
The live version of the durrrr challenge will take place 17th-19th of November in London. This has been confirmed by Matchroom Sport managing director Eddie Hearn who has been in charge of setting up the live challenge. He also announced two other players who will be taking on ‘durrrr’ and they are Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies and high stakes online regular Marcello Marigliano who plays at Full Tilt Poker under the alias ‘luckexpress’.
The challenge has a set $500,000 buy-in and will continue for at least 500 hands unless someone quits the game or busts before 500 hands. And when we talk about busting could it be Tom Dwan? The only good news for Dwan has been becoming a member of Team Full Tilt, and last night he even admitted online he only had around $2.5 million in his Full Tilt Poker account but stated he could get more. So it seems Isildur1 is really putting Dwan under pressure!
Sammy ‘Any Two’ George seems incredibly confident ahead of the challenge. He is the U.K’s cash game version of durrrr so the match will certainly be very exciting. Here is what Sammy said about accepting the challenge:
“While other pro’s have dithered in accepting the challenge I was the first man to step up to the plate and if Tom thinks he can come to my backyard and take half a million from my back pocket, he can think again.”
