Isildur1 wins $1.1 million pot against Phil Ivey

After being on the losing end of the largest pot in internet poker twice in one week, Isildur1 took on Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan and Phil Ivey on Full Tilt Poker last night.

Patrik Antonius has crushed Isildur1 in recent days for millions leaving the Swede with only $750k in profit, but last night he got a little revenge and finished his night with a profit of $430k, thanks yet again to Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan. It seems the new Full Tilt Pro just can’t compete against Isildur1 as he has lost millions to him over the last few weeks. Isildur1 took $770k from durrrr last night, then he took on Phil Ivey.

Isildur1 and Ivey sat down at the $500/$1000 NLHE tables where they played 1431 hands and Ivey was up just over $900k. Isildur1 then asked him to switch to PLO and Ivey agreed, and he continued to dominate Isildur1. He could have won millions but found himself on the losing end of the secobd largest pot in internet poker history.

After a few raises pre-flop, the flop of Js Ks Jd was revealed and had Isildur1 sat with the nuts as he held Kd 4d 5h Kc. Despite having the nuts Isildur1 stopped his aggression and both players checked the flop to see the 10d turn. Isildur1 check raised Ivey who then called only to see the 5d on the river. Isildur1 put Ivey all-in for around $360k on the river, meaning there was now $1,127,955 in the pot, which is currently the second largest in internet poker history.

Astonishingly Isildur1 has been involved in all ten of the top ten largest ever online pots and it seems there is no sign of the Swede slowing down depsite having a rollercoaster of ups and downs. As we mentioned before, Isildur1 was up $6 million at one point and now at the time of writing this is only $1.4 million up. It seems like he is on a mission to crush the Full Tilt Pro’s or go broke trying. He should probably avoid Antonius if he doesn’t want to be left broke!
