Isildur1 accepts TonyG stake – WILL appear in PartyPoker Big Game IV
Today professional poker player and businessman TonyG has revealed in his blog on www.PartyPoker.com that Isildur1 has accepted his offer to stake him for the upcoming PartyPoker Big Game IV. This is huge news and everyone is excited at the prospect of finally finding out the question of ‘Who is Isildur1?’. Well, not so fast.
It is still unconfirmed as to whether Isildur1 will reveal his identity, or whether he will be wearing a mask or outfit. This has left many people in the poker community wondering whether it is an April Fool’s prank, or whether it is even Isildur1 who will be playing if he is masked. Many people are questioning why Isildur1 would need staked, but what does he have to lose by accepting TonyG’s offer? Nothing! He is coming to London with all flights, accomodation and other expenses being paid for by TonyG himself. In return TonyG will be staking Isildur1 for the 48-hour game, but still TonyG has stated he wants to crush him.
Either way, this news has created massive hype for the PartyPoker Big Game whichwill be taking place from April 11th through to 13th April at Les Ambassadeurs club in Mayfair, London. The Big Game is a continous 48-hour cash game and it will be filmed and shown on UK television Channel Five later in the year. Already confirmed for the event is TonyG, Phil Laak, Jennifer Tilly, Roland De Wolfe, Luke ‘FullFlush1′ Schwartz, Isaac Haxton (Poker Savvy Plus coach), and many others.
So Isildur1 is still unknown?
Well, we will leave that up to you. We had our sources when we posted our ‘Who is Isildur1?’ article and recently Luke Schwartz aka ‘_FullFlush1_’ on Full Tilt Poker confirmed in an interview that Isildur1 is Swedish poker player Viktor Blom. As well as this, a few months ago we posted an interview which Luke Schwartz had with Jesse May where he stated his admiration for Viktor Blom and considered him the best NLHE player in the world – quite a compliment from the UK bad boy. It is also well-known of the close relationship Luke Schwartz has with Eddie Hearn from Matchroom Sport who are the organisers of the PartyPoker.com Big Game IV so we are confident Luke knows the identity of Isildur1.
