‘durrrr’ crushes Sammy ‘Any Two’ George and Ziigmund | Live durrrr challenge

Tom ‘durrrr’ Dwan’s live durrrr challenge began badly when he lost to Marcello ‘luckexpress’ Marigliano on Day One of the challenge, however Day Two and especially Day Three made up for his first day loss.

On Day Two of the live durrrr challenge, durrrr took on fellow high-stakes poker friend Ilari ‘Ziigmund’ Sahamies. Ziigmund had the choice of choosing which game they would play for 500 hands and chose Pot-Limit Omaha. It was Dwan who had most success however winning several $100k+ pots. In the end Dwan finished $68,000 ahead of Ziigmund meaning he had won Day Two of his live challenge with only Sammy ‘Any Two’ George to play.

Day Three saw them play No-Limit Hold’em and the two action junkies began just as expected. Dwan held Ks8c while Sammy held AcKc, 10c-Jc-3h with both players checking and again checking the turn which was the 5d. The river was the 3d and Dwan bet $43k with Sammy calling with Ace high for a great read on the internet poker sensation.

In the end however Tom Dwan began to dominate Sammy and with chip stacks at $900.5k for Dwan and only $99.5k for Sammy, he moved his remaining chips into the middle with 9c-4c and Dwan called with Ad-7h after a flop of 7d-6c-4d. The 6h on the turn and 2c on the river left Sammy George with no chips and $750k down!

This was a great way for Tom Dwan to finish his live challenge, lets just hope the durrrr challenge speeds up because it is getting pretty boring now! Maybe the next chapter of his online challenge should see them play around 20,000 hands instead of 50,000. They seem more interested in taking on Isildur1 however so it seems it could be quite a while before the online challenge is complete.

Ziigmund plays at PowerPoker which are offering Internet Poker Hub players a massive 110% up to $600 bonus.
